The 10th Annual Tim O'Donnell Honorary COLD HANDS PADDLE will be held Sunday March 3rd, 2013!

registration opens at 7am
race starts at 8:30am, rain or shine!

An alternate course will be provided should ocean conditions get too rough.

About two months prior to the Cold Hands Paddle in 2008, we had changed the date of the race to a week later because of a schedule conflict with another race (and also so I could go on a snowboarding trip).  My flight arrived home on Feb 24th, which was the initial date for the CHP.  An epic storm and swell hit that day.  The attached video is from that day taken at the bluff overlooking Cabrillo Point.  To give you some perspective, the boat in the video is Baywatch Cabrillo Boat which is 30+ feet long...  Mother Ocean is amazing!
